Article 012 - Answers to Common Questions

Things you want to know.

We answer a lot of the same question over and over so we decided to publish some information about the way we do things!

Q. Do you include switch and cable with your receivers?
A. Yes. No matter if you buy 1 receiver or 10 receivers, we include a DiSEqC switch and data cable with every FTA receiver you buy. The FTA receiver will also include a user manual, a remote, batteries for the remote, and RCA Video/Left/Right audio cable.

Q. Do you sell clone receivers? Are your receivers the real thing?
A. We do not sell clone receivers. Our receivers are all 100% original. We do not thing there is a clone problem in this marketplace, as the clone receivers are usually named differently such as Cooltec for Coolsat.

Q. Where do you ship your receivers from?
A. That depends on which item you buy. In 90% of cases we ship your receiver from within your country. However, some receivers are only avaialble in the USA and must be shipped from there. Email info@dvb101.net for up to date information.

Q. What courier do you ship with?
A. In the USA we ship exclusively with FedEx from Los Angeles. Canadian orders ship from the Toronto area.

Q. Can I come and pick my unit up?
A. In most cases no, however if you don't have a credit card you can send us funds using Interac Email Money Transfer. If you have online banking with Royal, Bank of Montreal, Scotia, CIBC, or TD then you have Interac Email Money Transfer. Email us for details.

Q. How often do you ship?
A. We ship daily. Most US Orders in by 3pm will ship by 6pm Pacific time, 9 pm Eastern. You will have tracking within that time period. Canadian orders should be in no later than noon.

Q. How do I track my order?
A. We provide you with a tracking number to follow the progress of your order. Our system is automated for your convenience.

Q. Why do you have 2 different prices for each item?
A. Each item has a US dollar price and a Canadian dollar price. Our prices are all based on the US dollar price with the Canadian dollar price being charged 10% more. You save most purchasing in Canadian, but for convenience the choice is yours.
