A new FTA receiver has hit the market. The latest offering from Pansat is the Pansat 6000 HXC. The 6000 is a hefty chunk of money to pay, at $499 US dollars most everywhere. There are many key features that the Pansat has that no other FTA receiver has.

The first the is dual tuner. The Pansat 6000 HXC is a dual tuner receiver so you can watch 2 shows at once via PiP or record one show while you watch another.

THe second difference, the Pansat 6000features a removable 60gb hard drive that can be used to record the shows you want to watch.

The third difference USB. The Pansat 6000 HXC has a USB 2.0 interface for quicker data transfers. You can transfer your programs to watch on your computer via the USB cable.

The fourth difference in the Pansat 6000 HXC (and the Pansat 3500) are the Common Interface Memory slots. You can store data on a memory stick, such as a channel list, and easily transfer it to your receiver.
