A new set top box has hit the market. The Neosat 5.0 FTA Receiver. This receiver has an Ethernet port for connection to the Internet. This allows for some great upgrades in the short term future - VOIP and IPTV. The IPTV is very exciting as you will be able to view television content streamed from the Internet. The Neosat i 1000 receivers fully supports IPTV and can work with a subscription based model. The unit has Component Video output and a built in Card Reader. This is the first receiver we are seeing with this kind of digital convergence.
